Joyful screams, genuine laughter, and a festive atmosphere—these were some of the things that many Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) enjoyed during the Barrio Fiesta Dubai & Bayanihan 2019 held last December 6 at Zabeel Park C in Dubai.

Filipinos in the UAE felt like they were in the Philippines, with exciting activities, parades, and famous personalities that all gave a glimpse of the merry fiesta celebrations back home.

Barrio Fiesta Dubai & Bayanihan 2019 filled the stomachs of Filipino foodies with its food carts from famous Philippine dining establishments. It also showcased great fashion masterpieces in its opening parade joined by Filipino organizations and schools, as well as provided games, promos, photo opportunities, and free film viewing. Kids also enjoyed the event with a Kid’s Play Place and the TFC Winter Lounge where they got a chance to bond with Santa Claus.

But the most awaited part was the performances of popular Filipino personalities, including Bela Padilla, Sam Milby, and Yeng Constantino. The three engaged with the crowd through their amazing performances, making guests dance and sing along.

The event was organized in partnership with The Filipino Channel and Bayanihan Organizing Committee, with the support of the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai.
