Abu Dhabi opens new cinema allowing moviegoers to watch free films in cars

Abu Dhabi residents can now enjoy watching movies in the comfort of their own car as it opens Abu Dhabi Moments’ latest drive-in cinema located on Hudayriyat Island.

The free movie event will take place on Nov. 7 and 8. The Abu Dhabi Accelerated Development ‘Ghadan 21’ Programme hopes to give moviegoers a memorable experience with its new drive-in cinema.

The Abu Dhabi Moments hopes to promote community activities and events. The drive-in movie experience is set to bring families and individuals together.

Free movies that can be enjoyed that the Abu Dhabi Moments include Joker and other blockbuster films.

There will be two screening times at 8pm and 11pm on Nov. 7 and 8.

The cinema will allow guests to watch in traditional cinema with snacks to be delivered by waiters.

Those who don’t have a car can also join the movie experience through a plush lounge viewing area.

Visitors can enjoy the film with blanket and pillows together with the state-of-the-art sound and visuals. (TN)
