Top 10 things you shouldn’t miss at Middle East Games Con 2019

Abu Dhabi is now counting down to the region’s largest gaming festival; Middle East Games Con, which will be taking place from tomorrow, Thursday October 24 until October 26 2019 at The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

The 3-day experiential show has 12 Zones and will give gamers and fans a virtual buzzing playground to immerse themselves in the world of gaming.

Here’s our Top 10 things to do at Middle East Games Con this weekend.

1- Meet your favorite Gaming Stars!
Fans will get the chance to meet & greet some of the world’s most famous YouTube gaming celebrities who have millions of followers. The Game Theorists, Azzyland and Kwebbelkop can all be seen live on the Entertainment Stage. You can also meet Ceb, the Dota2 World Champion at Steel Series and national freestyle champion and Arab’s Got Talent Finalist, Ammar Freez, will be showing off his football tricks on stage too.

2- So many unreleased games to play
From an exclusive showcase of Cyberpunk 2077 and Watch Dogs: Legion, to the playable demo of Roller Champions, be the first to play exclusive unreleased games like, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the award-winning DOOM Eternal only at Middle East Games Con.

3- Delve into the world of VR
This year gamers will get to immerse themselves into the new virtual reality zone. RobocomVR’s all new interactive simulator based on Hasbro’s TRANSFORMERS™ and 9 various VR experiences from KOCCA, will all be available to play at the show.

4- Take part in the Cosplay Competition and more
Get creative and take the ramp. No gaming festival would be complete without a Cosplay Competition, the winners get a chance to walk away with a massive prize pool of USD $5,000. Participants can take part in either Anime or Gaming Categories. Watch out for the 501st Legion during the opening ceremony and get your selfie with classic Star Wars Characters.

5- Get your game on!
Get in the ring and play as your favorite wrestlers from the WWE universe in the all new WWE 2K20, as well as newly released Borderlands 3 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Discover the latest upgrades to various PC and Laptop hardware by playing League of Legends, Rocket League, CS:GO and much more on new screens, keyboards, etc.

6- Participate in Live Tournaments
The Alienware Fortnite Ultimate Challenge and FIFA 20 Tournament headline a large roster of tournaments taking place at Games Con. Don’t miss out on the 3 fiery tournaments that will be taking place including Rainbow Six Siege, Tekken 7, and Street Fighter V, with cash prizes and consoles up for grabs.

7- Take time out with the Family
The Retro Arcade is back with a new look for an extremely exciting family activation, an energetic way of connecting generations of gamers. Family and friends can battle it out and get their rhythm and groove on to Just Dance 2020 on stage.
