When Filipinos think of Chinese food, majority of them will immediately think of Chowking – a homegrown brand all the way from the Philippines that has since found its way right here in the UAE, serving almost a million Filipinos in several emirates across the country.

As years go by, Chowking continues to improve and introduce its offerings and has recently launched two new innovative additions to its selections of their Lauriat line up. Their lauriats are popular as they offer several dishes all packed in one huge plate! Here they are.

Grilled Beef Lauriat. Akin to their hugely popular Chicken Barbecue Lauriat, Chowking’s newly launched Grilled Beef Lauriat has two sticks of beef that’s grilled to perfection and served with sesame seeds on top.

One bite from the beef and you would already taste the succulent flavors of beef that’s been tenderized and infused with their special grilled barbecue flavors. It manages to keep a distinct flavor compared to Chowking’s already established Chicken Barbecue offering which is a huge plus on its taste.

Apart from the grilled beef, the meal is paired with a piping hot serving of Chowking’s Egg Fried Rice, deliciously saucy Pancit Canton filled with toppings, three pieces of their signature Siomai, crunchy Chicharap and a Buchi.

Sweet and Sour Fish Lauriat. Fans of the popular fish lauriat from the Philippines can now enjoy the flavors of the Sweet and Sour Fish Lauriat here in the UAE! Generous servings of fish are paired with pieces of crisp vegetables and slices of pineapple, creating the tasty, iconic dish!

The dish banks on the concept of counterpoint tastes as the saltiness of the fish is countered by the mix of the sweet-and-sour sauce as well as its other vegetable ingredients. You can easily taste the freshness of the fish with each fulfilling bite as you have your hand grabbing another spoonful of rice!

Similar to other lauriats, the Sweet and Sour Fish Lauriat is served with Chowking’s Egg Fried Rice, Pancit Canton, Siomai, Chicharap, and Buchi.

Milk Tea and Mini Halo Halo. Apart from the lauriat deals, diners can now also enjoy Chowking’s very own version of their Milk Tea! Served in tall glasses, the chilled drink is an amazing mix of the flavors of fresh milk and brewed tea – with chewy, sweet pearls at the bottom. Each sip is guaranteed to bring a smile as the sweetness of the drink overwhelms you with a delightful taste.

Diners can also enjoy Chowking’s Mini Halo-Halo as an add-on to the lauriat for that sweet ending with its generous servings of shaved ice and multitudes of ingredients within the glass.

Chowking’s new Lauriat meals, as well as its other offerings and meals are now available across all of its stores in the UAE, available for dine-in, take out and online delivery as well.
