October 2018, Dubai, UAE – It was nothing short of performance when the Filipino rock icon, Bamboo, and Filipina singer and songwriter, Barbie, performed together. Both brought down the house over the weekend at Dragon Mart 2. The two best Pinoy talents rocked the night away with their greatest hits. Barbie delivered a nostalgic performance of “Tabing Ilog” and “Torpe” whilst Bamboo nailed his famous “Tatsulok” “Masaya” “Noypi” and songs from his album ‘Blessed This Mess’.
The mall was packed with fans cheering them on and singing to the tunes of their favorite OPM rock n roll songs which echoed at the entire venue. A trip down memory lane for some especially to those who grew up with their songs from the 90’s. That evening, it did turn like into a mini-concert that’s for sure. Bamboo and Barbie’s synergy are full on. Clearly, they still got the flare that the crowds go loco for.
