Pizza
With more than 10 years of existence and over 300 stores worldwide, The Pizza Company prides itself in serving pizzas with fresh ingredients from all over the world. “We get our flour from Cyprus, our cheese from New Zealand, yeast from France, spices from Thailand and our signature pizza sauce from the USA,”explains Al Khaja Group F&B Director Waleed Ezz.
Truly enough, each and every bite of the pizzas served to us had a very fulfilling taste of a freshly baked dough, the creamy saltiness of the cheese, complemented by the varying spices of the sauce and juiciness of each topping. “We don’t compromise on quality as we are very selective with the products we add on our pizza,” adds Ezz.
With 20 varieties to choose from, The Pizza Company provides a wide option of selections for their customers. “Filipinos love our best sellers which are the Super Deluxe, Chicken Trio, and Seafood Deluxe,” said Ezz.
What caught our attention as well were the ‘gourmet’ pizza dishes that they also serve. These include the Char Grilled Chicken Pizza, the Mediterranean Prawn Pizza, and the Italian Sausage Pizza – all of which had their own distinctive flavors.
Vegans and calorie-conscious customers also have options such as the Four Seasons Veggie Pizza and the Mediterranean Veggie.

Pasta, Chicken and More
Aside from their signature Pizza, The Pizza Company also offers pasta, chicken, appetizers, and more. “For pastas, people visit The Pizza Company for our signature Spaghetti Carbonara and Spaghetti Diavola,” said Ezz. The noodles of their spaghettis are cooked to just the right firmness. The Carbonara’s creaminess with the smoked turkey and the Diavola’s tinge of spiciness with each bite both satisfied our pasta cravings.
Their BBQ chicken was so savory, we found ourselves ordering it from part of an appetizer set, to its own set of 12 pieces as we couldn’t get enough of it! We also paired that with a set of their spicy buffalo wings that had a very fulfilling spice enough to have you grasping a glass of water.
Verdict:
Filipinos love food so much that they are amongst the huge market of customers here in the UAE for the F&B industry. “Our pizza matches with the Filipino taste, which is why they regularly visit our branches especially the one in Satwa,” said Ezz. With around 10 branches in the UAE, they are planning to open 10 more branches before the end of 2018. The Pizza Company has currently branches at Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, RAK, and Fujairah, serving daily from 11am onwards.
