Donita Rose admits financial struggles

Actress and host Donita Rose admitted Oct. 16 in an episode of ABS-CBN show “Magandang Buhay” that she went through a period of financial difficulty.

“That particular day umiyak talaga ako. Donita, who has been officially separated from her husband Eric Villarama since December 2016, said.

After praying and talking to her manager, Donita received an offer the next day to act as Aga Muhlach’s pregnant wife on “Seven Sundays”, which saw its opening on Oct. 11.

Earning P10 million during its premiere, “Seven Sundays” is a family drama about an overseas Filipino worker father who spent the last seven weeks of his life with his children.

Donita’s last movie was Lastikman in 2003.
