Backhoe to Forever: Bride and groom scooped up to make it to wedding

A couple in Mabinay, Negros Oriental had a memorable wedding day, not because of a fancy bridal car, but with a backhoe scooping them up to help them cross an impassable river in Negros Oriental.

According to 24 Oras report, newlywed Marjun and Remelyn were on their way to the church, but nature tested their vows to forever when the water in the river’s water levels suddenly rose and making it impassable.

Luckily, the couple saw a backhoe near the area responding to a landslide. They asked its operator to give them a lift to cross the river.

Through all these struggles on their special day, they were still able to exchange their vows and promised to be with each other through thick and thin.
