Woman passenger not following MRT rules goes viral

“How hard is it to fall in line?”

This was the question posed by a Filipino commuter on Facebook to a woman not following simple public transportation rules/etiquette.

In a Facebook post by Nikko Dave Francisco on Thursday, September 21, a woman can be seen stepping on a marked lane which is the supposed area for passengers getting off the train.

Since other commuters strictly to follow the signs painted on the floor, Francisco said a security guard approached the woman.

“If you will ask me if I tried to politely ask her, I did not bother. Ilan beses na ako sinigawan lang pabalik and wala ako sa mood manita since lahat pagod na at gusto na lang makauwi,” he added.

He said irresponsible commuters are being tolerated because of Filipinos’ “madiskarte” culture.

“Our culture tolerates people being “madiskarte” even if they do it by taking advantage of others.”
