Moist and tender steaks are coming to serve the cravings of overseas Filipino in the UAE as a Philippine homegrown restaurant is set to make its debut in the Middle East region.
Sizzlin’ Steak, a casual dining restaurant brand under Max’s Group Inc. (MGI) signed a partnership deal with Kasamar Holdings to build seven outlets in the UAE in the next five years, Inquirer reported on Monday.
“We are witnessing the emergence of Sizzlin’ Steak as a global mainstream brand. At the same time, we are pleased with our partnership with Kasamar Holdings to introduce our hot plate concept to the UAE,” the report quoted MGI president and chief executive officer Robert Trota as saying.
Kasamar is an Abu Dhabi-based family office engaged in investing in regional private equity, global real estate, and public securities.
“We are excited to enter this space with one of the most reputable food and beverage names from the Philippines. We genuinely believe in the uniqueness and value proposition offered by Sizzlin Steak. We look forward to launching our first shop in the UAE by early next year with the intent to accelerate rollout in the long-term,” Mo Bississo, director at Kasamar Holdings, was quoted as saying.
