Is this your first time to experience the desert summer?
If so, it’d pay to note the following tips:
- Always have a bottle of water with you wherever you go.
- Wear light colored cotton clothes – they don’t absorb heat.
- Keep yourself ventilated – if possible, buy a portable battery-operated fan.
- While at it, buy an atomizer, too, so you could spray your face with water whenever you feel like it.
- Most importantly, make a plan before you head out.
- And while out there, apply ice packs or cold compresses at the wrists, neck, elbows, groin, ankles, and behind the knees.
