A passenger who suffered a cardiac arrest on an India-Dubai flight was saved by Indian airline staff working together with a doctor who happened to be on board.
The passenger on the Go First flight from Kannur to Dubai complained of chest pain and fell unconscious.
It was sheer luck that the doctor was flying to Dubai.

Dr. Shabeer Ahamed Veetil used two sets of automated external defibrillators shock and five sets of CPR and the cabin crew helped the patient survive.
Go First, while congratulating the crew and the doctor, tweeted, “The prompt action by the cabin crew and doctor on flight G8-057 helped save the life of the passenger.”
