The Dubai Criminal Court Dubai Court has imprisoned 4 women for forcing a fellow woman into prostitution.
Two of the gang were sentenced to three years and two others to six months in prison and it was ordered that they will be deported after serving their sentence.
Earlier the Criminal Investigation Department officers raided a hotel room in the Al Hudaiba area on a tip-off regarding the sexual exploitation of a minor in November 2021.

Later the victim said that she contacted a woman on social media in her home country who arranged for her a flight ticket to the UAE and a visa to work as a saleswoman.
She however said she was held in an apartment and forced into prostitution and couldn’t escape and later after getting in touch with a woman on a dating app she paid the gang money to secure her release.
