Presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr on Tuesday said that the teachers deserved better support while underscoring the need to improve educational quality.
The remark came after Lanao del Norte governor Imelda Dimaporo said that education was one of the major concerns in their province.
“Ang educational system natin kailangang tingnan at bigyan ng mas malaking suporta ang ating mga guro,” Marcos told supporters at the Mindanao Civic Center in Tubod town in Lanao del Norte while stressing the need for more jobs and improvement of digital infrastructure.
