Private schools in Sharjah announced mandatory face-to-face classes for pupils for the new academic term in April.
The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) made the announcement in a new circular, in coordination with the local National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority.
The SPEA posted on Twitter that the decision was taken due to “the stability of the COVID-19 situation and the high vaccination rate”.
Al Hosani assured that schools have been instructed to make the necessary preparations for a safe educational environment.
In this line, SPEA is set to announce the launch of its private education strategy, in line with its keenness to develop a clear road map for the private educational institutions in Sharjah.
The Authority’s strategy targets private educational institutions in the emirate, including schools, kindergartens and training institutes.
