The UAE Public Prosecution reminded people that harassment of women in public and disguising as female will result in AED 10,000 fine and 1-year in jail.
The penalties for molesting a female were explained in a post on social media accounts by the UAE Public Prosecution.

Under Article 412 of the Federal Decree-Law No. 31 of 2021, a person shall be sentenced to detention for a term not exceeding one year and/or a fine not exceeding AED 10,000 for molesting a female in an indecent way by words or acts on a public road or in a frequented place. The penalty will also be imposed on a person who disguises himself in female apparel and enters a place reserved for women or where entry is forbidden.
