The UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has reiterated its call for timely payment of employees’ salaries.
The employers have been asked to pay their employees on time as per their contracts in accordance with the wage protection system and in line with the ministerial resolution that implements the Federal Decree-Law regulating labour relations.

Mohsen Al Nassi, Director of the Inspection Systems Department at the Ministry, said employees should receive their salaries on time and called on employers to respect the wage protection system, which operates through an e-mechanism that facilitates the process of paying wages, under the framework of the strategic partnership with the Central Bank of the UAE.
Al Nassi highlighted the importance of the ministry’s e-inspection system, which monitors the payment of wages, especially during field visits to non-compliant facilities.
