An Indian national was found hanging in his accommodation in Sharjah on Saturday.
The 22-year-old man was found hanging by his roommates and he was already dead when the police arrived at the scene.
His body was sent to a forensic laboratory for an autopsy.
Some of his co-workers were summoned by the police to get more information about the case. Later on, the police discounted the possibility of foul play.
Sharjah Police are now looking into depression as a possible angle behind his death.
Reportedly, he uploaded some TikTok videos narrating that he was frustrated over not meeting a woman he met online.
