Over 76,355 Filipinos submitted their applications to the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA’s) scholarship programs during its three-day National TVET Enrollment Day (NTED).
The event was held between August 25 to 27 and the agency said that the applications were received online.
Isidro Lapeña, TESDA Secretary, said in a statement, “Even if the NTED is done, we are still offering scholarship programs. They just need to visit our website and Facebook page for more information. This is free.”

The agency said that the NTED is a “nationwide event held simultaneously for Filipinos who want to get free technical-vocational education training (TVET) through TESDA scholarships.”
“They only need to follow the steps for application. Once submitted, the nearest TESDA district or provincial office will contact the applicants and will be assisted for enrollment at the appropriate training center,” it added. (AW)
