Individuals who wish to apply for the Golden Visa here in the UAE can now check if they are eligible through the use of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) app.
ICA said on Twitter that it has introduced the Golden residence nomination service through its smart application which will enable those eligible for a 10-year residency visa or those nominating people for this service to apply through the smart app by submitting all the required documents.

The applicants will be charged AED 50 for the service.
The Federal authority further said that after submitting the required documents the applicant will receive a text message and an e-mail from concerned authorities confirming the receipt of the application and its progress.
The authorities have however warned that the application will be canceled after 30 days if it is rejected due to inadequate information or failure to submit all the required documents. (AW)
