Malacañang insisted that President Rodrigo Duterte was not to be blamed as thousands flocked to vaccination sites in Metro Manila on Thursday.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said that Duterte’s remarks on unvaccinated people did not contribute to the chaos on vaccination sites.

“I don’t think so.
Duterte previously warned that the unvaccinated people will not be allowed to go out of their houses.

“Itong ayaw magbakuna, sinasabi ko sa inyo, ‘wag kayong lumabas ng bahay kasi ‘pag lumabas kayo, sabihin ko sa mga pulis na ibalik kayo sa bahay ninyo because you are a walking spreader,” he said.
Malacañang clarifies that there’s no order preventing the unvaccinated to go out.
(TDT)
