Oman’s Ministry of Health will soon be restarting its drive-through vaccination program as well as its “home vaccination” initiative for the clinically disabled and people with special needs.
Thamra bint Saeed Al Ghafriya, Director General of Health Services for the Governorate of Muscat, said that further details about this “home vaccination” — from Sunday to Thursday — will be announced soon.

The Director-General for Oman’s Health Searvices likewise confirmed that the drive-through vaccination service at the Oman Automobile Association will be reactivated from June 27.
The Ministry of Health announced the resumption will prioritize people in the age group of 45 years and above.

The drive-through would also be open to pregnant women. However, the MOH advised that they could only take the vaccines after the fourth month of pregnancy.
MOH also added that the official timings of their drive-through vaccination program will be from 3:00 pm till 7:00 pm, as Oman is currently on a partial lockdown from 8:00 pm till 4:00 am. (AW)
