A COVID-19 patient in Albay has filed a complaint saying she was raped by a fellow patient in an isolation facility.
In a GMA News report, the complainant said that she was about to leave the facility when the suspect invited her to drink.

The victim said that the rape took place during the drinking session.
The local government unit in Albay is now investigating the case and questions the negligence of the facility.

The suspect is now in the custody of authorities and the facility has yet to comment on the issue.
It’s also unclear on why the suspect was able to drink inside the facility and had the opportunity to interact with the victim. (TDT)
