A 52-year-old woman was ‘mercilessly’ shot dead by a drunk policeman in Fairview, Quezon City on Monday night.
The victim identified as Lilibeth Valdez came from a store past 9 p.m. when the policeman approached her.
The suspect identified as Police Master Sergeant Hensie Zinampan then pulled her hair and shot the woman in the neck.
The shooting incident was captured in a cell phone video.
Authorities are looking at ‘revenge’ as a possible motive since the victim’s son and the suspect were involved in a fistfight last May 1.
The suspect was immediately arrested by the police.
The suspect is currently assigned to the Philippine National Police – Police Security and Protection Group.
