Vaccine manufacturer Moderna has applied for an emergency use authorization (EUA) for its COVID-19 vaccine in the Philippines, vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. announced on Monday.
“This afternoon Moderna, through Zuellig, has submitted its application,” Galvez said during Sulong Pilipinas Forum.

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Director-General Eric Domingo said the documents submitted by Moderna are currently being checked.
Domingo earlier said they are just waiting for Moderna to apply for EUA for its COVID-19 vaccine in the country.
