The Dubai Police arrested a man who recently celebrated the birth of his newborn child with fireworks. But the celebration turned out to be disastrous as he ended up burning his neighbors’ properties.
In a report on Al Khaleej, the man burned five cars during the celebration. At least six houses were also damaged.
Brigadier General Abdul Halim Al Hashimi, Director of Al Qusais Police Station, said that they responded to a report of an explosion in the Oud Al-Muteena area.

The ambulance and civil defense services immediately responded to the area.
The police controlled the explosion and arrested the young man. Two of his friends were also arrested for hiding the firecrackers.
Al Hashemi credited the quick response of police patrols and supporting teams with helping to reduce losses.

Authorities also warn of the dangers of using fireworks and urged the public to be mindful of their devastating consequences.
