Ex-president Erap Estrada’s health improving after contracting COVID-19

Former President and Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada’s health condition is improving days after he was hospitalized after contracting COVID-19.

In a video, Erap thanked everyone who prayed for his speedy recovery.

According to his son, former Senator Jinggoy Estrada, the Erap’s oxygenation level improved to 95-98 percent, from Sunday evening’s 85 percent.

Despite improvement, the younger Estrada said doctors still need to further observe the former president’s condition in the next 3 to 4 days.

Jinggoy added that his father cannot wait to get out of the hospital.

Meanwhile, Jinggoy took a swipe against other relatives for providing updates about the medical condition of their father.

He made the remark a day after his half-brother JV Ejercito tweeted that a phone conversation with one sibling “didn’t turn out well.”

The younger Estrada asked his relatives and the public to give respect to their family as false information about their father’s condition proliferated on social media.

I get along with all of them. (RA)
