Authorities have ordered bachelors vacated 60 houses at the Al Qadisiya district after a woman expressed her worries about living in the area that should have been strictly for families.
His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah ordered the eviction of the houses in the area where the bachelors lived.

Sharjah’s Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWGA) immediately disconnected the utility services after the directive was issued.
Thabit Salem Al Tarifi, director-general of Sharjah Municipality, Major-General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of the Sharjah Police, along with representatives of the SEWGA visited the Al Qadisiya area to inspect if the houses had been vacated properly.

“The municipality has delivered the owners or direct tenants notices of review and their violation due to subcontracting housing rentals in violation of laws and regulations,” said Al Tarifi.
The eviction is expected to continue until all houses in the vicinity have been vacated.
