The Dubai Health Authority has reduced the price of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) or more commonly known as swab tests to only AED150.
This is AED100 lower than the initial price reduction that is currently set at a maximum of AED250 since last September 13.

However, the DHA states that the AED150 tests are only applicable to government hospitals for the time being.
DHA stresses that the costs for private hospitals should not exceed beyond AED250.
Authorities provided a further discount to the PCR test in Dubai to help it become more accessible to the public and to continue the country’s fight to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
