A man in Japan has proven his appreciation and love for his wife by rewarding her with cash worth JPY100,000 (AED3,457) as a compensation for her breastfeeding for their baby, AsiaOne reported.
In a tweet translated by SoraNews24, the husband has given the money in an envelope with the letter that says, “It’s not much, but this is in appreciation for the past six months. Use it however you’d like, and thank you for all your hard work.”
The woman said in a post that she earlier joked about how much she helped her husband save money for milk by breastfeeding her child—noting that formula milk in Japan costs about JPY140,000 (AED4800+). She said she was surprised when her husband took it seriously and gave her money.
The move of her husband gained traction on social media, with Japanese netizens admiring the husband for his sweetness.
