The Philippine government has been working nonstop to continue to aid Filipinos not only in our home country, but around the world as well to help cushion the impact of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The Filipino Times will highlight the Philippines’ forward-looking steps towards recovery from the pandemic on a free webinar titled: “TFT Usapang OFW: Tulong at Serbisyo para sa bawat OFW mula kay Pangulong Duterte” happening this August 12, at 12:00 noon via Zoom interview at our official Facebook page.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque will address all OFW concerns regarding the latest developments happening in the Philippines and will respond to questions from many OFWs based in the UAE during the 1-hour zoom interview.
The webinar will discuss topics including OFW repatriations, cash assistance, labor policies, and the creation of the OFW department. He will also address OFW concerns regarding PhilHealth and the country’s efforts in expanding COVID-19 testing, community quarantine measures as well as the eventual procurement of the vaccine.
Filipino attendees of the free webinar can ask questions from Secretary Roque to gain insights as to how they or their families can benefit from the programs laid out by the government in the coming days.
