The Ministry of Health and Protection (MoHaP) recently conducted an additional 47,000 tests that led to the discovery of 211 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 patients to 56,922.

The ministry also reported one patient who have died due to complications from COVID-19, which brings the country’s total death toll to 339.
In addition, the UAE has reported over 352 fully recovered patients, with the total now at 49,269.

This brings the total number of active cases down from yesterday’s 7,456 to 7,314 as of July 19.

The world’s first Phase III trial is the result of a cooperation partnership between Abu Dhabi based G42 Healthcare, currently at the forefront of the battle against COVID-19 in the UAE, and Sinopharm CNBG, the world’s sixth-largest vaccine manufacturer, ranked 169th on the Fortune Global 500 list of 2018.
