LOOK: Aftermath of Notre Dame blaze shows what’s left of the cathedral

The world is still in shock following the fire that burned centuries of history away as the Notre Dame’s roof was destroyed in a blaze last Monday.

AFP has recently released photos giving a first glimpse of the cathedral after the fire that charred the roof beams, most of them estimated to be hundreds of years old.

“Notre-Dame’s great organ – one of the most famous in the world – survived the fire, as well as some of the rose windows and precious artworks that were too big to remove,” as per a report from AFP.
