Saudi launches app to issue movement permits

As part of its efforts to provide efficient service amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, Saudi Arabia has introduced an app that will issue movement permits during the curfew hours, Saudi Gazette reported.
Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has recently announced the trial launch of “Tawakkalna,” the app that will issue official movement permits during the curfew hours in the Kingdom as a preventive measure against COVID-19.
During this initial phase, the app can provide permits to a selected group of public and private employees that would like to be exempted by the curfew hours, people with medical appointments, and couriers.
