Makkah had the most number of new cases at 72. Riyadh followed with 34. AlQatif have four cases. Khobar and Alahsa with three cases each.
Dhahran, Dammam, and Qassim each had one case.
This now brings the total to 511 confirmed cases.
Meanwhile, there were 17 recorded recoveries from COVID-19 there.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was quoted in a report by Al Arabiya saying 33 percent of the infections are a result of people coming into contact with previously infected individuals and taking part in social gatherings, like weddings, funerals, and family get-togethers.
MoH spokesman Mohammed al-Abd al-Ali therefore urged the people to stay at home to protect themselves from the virus.
There were already 23,000 tests conducted in Saudi Arabia, he added.
Strict measures will still continue to be implemented, he said, to contain the outbreak.
