Three security officers were injured after a Saudi local went on a shooting spree in Madinah, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The man, in his forties, reportedly started firing at a Toyota van, with a bullet going through the rear windshield. The shooting spree followed a chase, where the man ran over a motorist.
After the suspect escaped to his house, he barricaded himself and started firing at the guards.

The security men were able to arrest the shooter, and the three who got injured at the standoff were rushed to the hospital.
SPA reported that the authorities are now investigating the shooter and his motive, as well as the measures to be taken against him.
