In its bid to promote camaraderie and an active lifestyle, the Philippine Embassy in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain participated in the Bahrain Sports Day event held at Bahrain Table Tennis Association (BTTA) Hall of the Isa Sports City, Isa Town, Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Bahrain Sports Day is a yearly event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the patronage of H. E. Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman.
The Embassy commended the event, saying that such activities promote goodwill and camaraderie among the Filipino community in the Kingdom. Filipinos were also urged to continue supporting and engaging with each other through sports.
The event was participated by members of the Diplomatic and Consular Missions accredited to the Kingdom. Activities participated in by representatives of the Embassy included table tennis and the walkathon.
