Philippine culture and products promoted in Bahrain

The products and the culture of the Philippines were put on the spotlight in Bahrain, as the Philippine Embassy in the Kingdom participates in Bahrain for All, All for Bahrain 2020.
The festival, which celebrated its 9th edition on February 6 to 7, showcased the various cultures of expatriate communities in Bahrain. It was held at the Bahrain Bay Development center.
The festival—with this year’s theme Leaving No one Behind”—is an annual event under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of Bahrain. It aims to foster harmony and good relations among locals and expatriate communities in the Kingdom.
The festival started with a parade, followed by cultural presentations from the different expatriate communities in Bahrain. Embassies and other community organizations were assigned a stall to display their products to promote tourism in their countries. The Philippine Embassy stall featured Philippine handicrafts and food items originating from different regions in the Philippines.
Meanwhile, the Philippine School Bahrain Banyuhay Dance Troupe, PSB Choral PHL Dance Crew, and AIM Global Ati Atihan group performed folk dances and song during the festival.
