PH Embassy in Bahrain joins Sto. Ñino Fiesta 2020

As part of its commitment to celebrate Filipino heritage in Bahrain, the Philippine Embassy in the Kingdom recently participated in the celebration of the Feast Day of Sto. Ñino at Sacred Heart Church last January 24.
The Filipino community, together with the Philippine Embassy in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, celebrated the Feast day of Sto. Niñ, which started with a procession for the devotees. The event was then followed by a holy mass presided by Filipino priest Father Rodolfo Encabo.
Devotees of the Sto. Niño also performed dances similar to the traditional Sinulog festival to honor Sto Niño. Little children dressed as ñinos and ñinas also joined the parade. The main carosa of the Sto. Ñino was also carried by leaders of the community and Embassy representatives.
Philippine Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Alfonso Ver said in his speech that the Sto. Nino festival is very much part of the Philippine culture and our faith as people.
