An Asian man who consumed a large quantity of liquor tried to rape a Filipina but she foiled his attempt when she screamed for help.
Several Arab men walking back home at night heard her screams and hurried towards where the sound came from.

They found that the Filipina was resisting the drunk man who was swaying and looked in a bad shape, newspapers said.
The Arabs caught the drunk man and phoned the police who came and arrested the Asian, the report said.

“He told the police that he had much alcohol and that he could not control his behaviour….if the Filipina decided not to prosecute him, he would escape jail but will be deported immediately,” Al Anba daily said.
