Kuwaiti police arrested an Arab vendor on charges of molesting an Asian vendor close to his shop in a market in the Gulf emirate.
The woman said the man came to her shop and touched sensitive parts of her body but the vendor denied the accusations.
He told police the woman made false accusations because she did not want to pay back money he had lent her.
Newspapers said the woman called the man a “liar” as she did not borrow money from him, adding that police had requested films from security cameras in the market to determine whether the man molested his neighbour.
