A Kuwaiti court sentenced a local lawyer and four of his employees to life in prison after they were convicted of abducting a colleague and beating him up following a dispute between the two lawyers.
Police arrested the lawyer and four Egyptians after they were told by another lawyer that he was kidnapped and taken to a remote place, where he was beaten up.
The defendant denied the charges in court but the four Egyptians confessed to stalking the plaintiff near his home in the capital Kuwait City and abducing him in their car’s boot after tying him up.
