A Kuwaiti female prison guard was battered by two inmates at the women’s central prison in the Gulf emirate before she was rescued by two other guards.
The police woman told investigators that she was inside the prison searching for suspected drugs when two inmates assaulted her and beat her up.
Two other police women rushed inside after hearing their colleague’s screams and rescued her, newspapers said.
The victim reported the two Kuwaiti inmates to police, who said they would take measures against the assailants.
