As part of its commitment to improve the tourism industry in line with the Saudi Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia has organized a cultural exhibit at the headquarters of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris on November 19, Arab News reported.
The exhibition, which was organized by Ministry of Culture, the Royal Commission for AlUla, and cultural organization Misk Art Institute, aims to promote international cultural and heritage exchange. It was attended by local, as well as several artists, and it coincided with the 2019 International Culture Ministers’ Forum participated by culture ministers from around the globe.
The exposition showed the Kingdom’s history, present achievements, as well as its vision for the future—depicted through various sculptures, photos, heritage discussions, Arabic coffee, culinary arts, poetry, and live music.
Minister of Culture and Chairman of the National Commission for Education, Science and Culture Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al-Saud has inaugurated the activities of the exhibit, saying that Saudi Arabia and UNESCO shares the same vision of advocating heritage for the sake of future generations.
