PCG Jeddah: If you have issues with the Consulate’s services, let’s have a dialogue

The Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Jeddah has recently encouraged Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia to discuss issues and complaints they have with the Consulate’s services or personnel.

In a statement, PCG Jeddah has invited OFWs to visit the Consulate to have a dialogue with the officials about whatever concerns they may have—assuring them that their identities will be kept confidential.

This came after the Consulate has seen a number of complaints and concerns against some of its personnel and services being aired on social media and other unofficial platforms.

“While continuing to air complaints on social media may make the individuals concerned feel good with the ‘Likes’ and other expressions of support from people who share their views, the Consulate believes that it is ultimately not helpful as it gives the impression that our Filipino Community is divided,” the consulate said in its statement.

The Consulate asked OFWs to contact their Administrative Section at 055-408-9294 or [email protected] to set up an appointment with for a dialogue.
