A Saudi man was stabbed to death by another Saudi resident during a visit to his nearby home to welcome the killer’s father on his return from abroad.
Newspapers said the man has just hugged his neighbor after his return from a trip abroad and sat for a chat in the sitting room.
He was in the middle of the conversation and was having coffee when his friend’s son rushed towards him and stabbed him in the chest with a kitchen knife.
“The man, his wife and other family members were shocked at what happened before their eyes…they phoned an ambulance but the victim was already dead,” Sada newspaper said, without mentioning the killer’s motives.
Police arrested the killer for interrogation on the reasons that made him murder his father’s neighbor before his eyes, the paper added.
