A man believed to be mentally disturbed disrupted Friday’s Muslim prayers at a key mosque in Kuwait when he claimed to be a saint.
The man started to scream in the packed mosque in the capital Kuwait City as the Moslem preacher began his Friday’s sermon.
The Arabic language daily Al Qabas said the man then attacked guards at the mosque when they tried to stop him.
A TV crew broadcasting the prayers live on TV stopped filming and called the police, who came to the mosque and arrested the man, the paper said.
