A Monkey has caused panic among residents of a Saudi neighborhood by wandering on top of houses and balconies, refusing to leave.
Many residents of the area in the Western town of Makkah said they had tried to scare the monkey off but he kept returning.
A short video published by Sada newspaper showed the monkey sitting at the edge of a window of an apartment.
The paper said the monkey had apparently come from nearby mountains in search for food, adding that many schools boys and girls have not been to school for two days as they fear the monkey could attack them.
The monkey has been in the neighborhood for nearly three months, appearing and disappearing, reported Sada.
Residents have sent a message to local authorities to help them get rid of the monkey.
