Two Asian men are now on trial in Bahrain for forcing an Asian woman to venture into prostitution, The Daily Tribune News of Bahrain reported.
According to court files, the victim—who was serving as a maid—met two strangers on the Internet who offered her a job opportunity. The men promised higher compensation, which encouraged the woman to run away from her employer.
When she met with the pair, they locked her up in an abandoned house and forced her to have sex with different people under threat. The men, according to the prosecutors, were paid for allowing strangers to have sex with the victim.
The men were arrested, and prosecutors said they have evidence that they have done it with several Asian maids before.
