Saudi authorities arrested a man on charges of torturing his wife and children with chains and a whip, newspapers said on Sunday.
Police raided the man’s house in the Western town of Makkah following a phone call from the wife that her husband never stops torturing her and their three sons.
Doctors at a government hospital found that the woman and the three kids have been severely tortured with a whip.
They also found marks that proved he had chained the boys for long periods of time, the papers said, adding that the unidentified man would stand trial.
